Alok Mohan IPS, ADGP - Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order) has said that the investigation concerning the murder of 29-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Prashant Poojary has been reasonable and unprejudiced. Mr. Alok Mohan said that Police Commissioner S. Murugan and other city police authorities were doing a great job.
Mr. Alok Mohan said that the case was being investigated by a group of authorities under the supervision of the Police Commissioner, the Director-General of Police and the Inspector-General of Police. "Everything is being seen and regulated at different levels. There is no chance to get of the police being incomplete in any of the cases." The police had been impartial and reasonable in their examination, he said.
Mr. Alok Mohan said they were keeping a nearby vigil on the messages posted on social media sites and making action in if messages that were inconvenient to the peace in the public arena were posted. "We request that individuals forward such messages to the police. We ensure activity," he said.
